Milk Doesn't Do A Body Good
Dr. Stephen C. Gangemi * June 2008
Often I get asked whether a person should drink [cow's milk]. After all, the dairy industry runs a huge campaign to promote their superfood claiming everybody should have a milk mustache. Yet what many people don't know is that the majority of milk contains hormones such as testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, and the powerful growth hormone. Even viral strains have been detected in milk. The diseases linked to drinking milk, both functional and pathological, are astronomical, and the claims they make regarding osteoporosis prevention have never been supported.
Rather than list all the problems associated with milk, I direct you to two sites. The first is an article on the website of the Weston Price Foundation which discusses the problems with milk and the benefits of raw milk: http://www.westonaprice.org/transition/dairy.html.
And then a more recent short youtube video regarding the dangers of milk here: http://video.stumbleupon.com/#p=smuv58f37m.
